Not because I'm unconcerned with Amazon's recent behavior, but because the price was better than the physical book (about a 20% discount) and for "paperbacks," at least, I'd rather carry the book around on my phone than as paperback. Hopefully, Amazon won't pull a "1984" or go out of business someday. If they ever remove their DRM, those two concerns would become moot and I would go on a buying spree. Until then, I'm only going to buy a handful of Kindle books, and the Apotheosis trilogy represents about half of that. I bought the Kindle version for my iPhone.
