The USA is an invasive creature in an infinite number of ways that piss off a lot of people just as much as our military projection.  Celebrity is our most potent cultural export, and one of the prime reasons that a lot of the world sees us as boorish and morally bankrupt.</description>

		<description>Yep, even after all the wonderful fun we went through in the 80s as sexual abuse was drug into the open, and then the late 90s with the Catholic scandals, we still have a cultural problem with this concept.

As I&#039;ve said elsewhere, even if a US Judge says, &quot;Time served&quot; for the original crime, there&#039;s still the matter of fleeing. That adds several years to most people&#039;s sentences. 

So here&#039;s to his extradition and his going to jail. At least he fled after the conviction/plea deal. If had fled before then, we would be discussing statute of limitations issues.
