Back from Columbus

May 25, 2009

SigningI’m back from doing the panelist thing at Marcon.  And in the picture I’m playing the author-on-display with Toby Buckell, Paul Melko, and Charles Findlay.  Charlie ended up selling way more books than the rest of us combined (the bastard).  Still a fun time, and it’s nice to hang out will fellow writers, solitary profession that this is.

I’m pretty sure that entire Montessori school showed up and bought a book from Charlie. Good for him! It was a lot of fun.

  2. Hi! I’m also an author in the Greater Cleveland area, went to Marcon. I sat in on a panel about real-life and writing–I had the question about kids home for summer and deadlines–and I had hoped to talk more to you and Charlie but the con being a multiple alternate realities one…I think a time warp sucked the time away! It went way to fast! Hope you had a great time…maybe I can catch up with you at Context?

  3. I plan to be there :) Glad you had a good con even if you didn’t get a chance to catch up with me.

  4. Knowing all of you, that panel must have been killer.

Actually, the picture is of the joint booksigning at Barnes & Noble in Columbus.
